.40 to 9mm conversion barrels?

So I want to condense my cals to 9mm. I was thinking about selling or trading the xdm .40 for another xdm 9mm but I see they make conversion barrels. Anyone have any first hand experience with these? The new barrel fits right in and the regular 9mm xdm mags work in the .40 without any issue?

I have used several conversion barrels in Glocks without any issues. On a budget try a Lone Wolf if it is available. I prefer KKM drop in barrels for Glocks.

If you still thinking of going the trade option let me know I've got a XC SC in 9mm.

It's my daily, but I'm interested in the .40 cal so let me know.
