I make all my 45Colt ammo and have never used the two in your links however; 45Colt ammo is so simple that if you are looking for plinking ammo im sure it will do just fine.

If I had a .45 colt I would load and cast for it. Since that cartridge was made for cast bullets it would really be a great cartridge to cast for, and you would save like 80% of the cost of even that Bitteroot valley ammo. Considering you can get all you need to load and cast for that cartridge for probably less than $500, and considering that loading will let you save on all the ammo you shoot in any of your guns, you should really consider that instead of paying $25/box for "cheap" ammo, if you don't already handload.

Hmm, i can get all the stuff to reload from my uncle. He may already have the needed dies and stuff too. So that could be an option lol. I guess i'll have to call him and see.
