Has anyone ever had any experience with a .454 Casull? Does anyone have a rifle in that caliber? I know a few of you have Ruger pistols chambered for it. Any input?

I have a Freedom Arms that I have plenty of experience with. I have shot 260 gr to 340 gr loads. It is a seriously good game killer. What rifle are you thinking about? Other than a ruger no 1, I am not sure I would chamber it in one. Frankly, I wouldn't use it in a Super Redhawk. You really need to examine a FA revolver and compare it to any other revolver to understand. 50K+ cup is a lot of pressure, especially with a casehead as large as the .454.
