    Holy ****.

Do people really believe that you won't be able to get 223 ammo soon? Assault weapons ban don't have anything to do with ammo.

It's the consumers fault for not realizing that. We are the ones (generally speaking) who are the ones causing these prices to become this by panicking.

Yeah that's what I meant by we in general. Glad I have been doing some stocking up over the past couple months here and there when I ran across deals. Should hold me over till the panic is diminished.

    Geeze,
Bought 1k rounds of 223 at Cabellas last week for 250.00.
Will let em go for $800.00 & 1000 rounds of Brass if some one wants to list em and make a few hundred bucks.
    Rounds are PMC brass LOL....
    Thats insane prices.
Cabella's had those cheap White box rounds for 6.00 a box of 20 yestarday, and when I say cheap I mean they were not even winchester white box, some off brand white box.
and at 6.00 a box which will put you at 350.00 for 1000

Dave's gun shop in Lafayette is charging $500 with tax for 55gr PMC. I called a couple of other places and they are charging more. Ridiculousness!!

one thing is for sure, i am going to re-think who i do buissness with from now on. all these stores and gun shops that got on board the rape train and start sticking it to their customers, will never see another dime of my money. we need to start a list and point them out. we are supposed to be a community of enthuseist that stick together when things get tough, not break it off in each others you know what the second you can. i won't name names right now but i was in a recently in a gun shop in metairie the other day. federal 62 gr. green tip, $20.00 for twenty rds., bulgarian circle 10 mags $60.00, pmags close to $50.00. thats nuts. i have spent thousands in there over the years, never another dime.
