Academy put the brass case .223 Monarch stuff on sale again for $5.99/20. Not sure how long it's on sale for, but it's $10 cheaper per 100 than bulk Federal.

It'll go down to 4.99 or less, IF YOU QUIT BUYING IT!! They are obviously overstocked, and its not moving off the shelves. Now it's come down to where they are only making 50% mark-up instead of 100%, control yourselves, if we don't buy it it will keep coming down.

I agree, let the stuff collect dust and the prices will fall.

Good luck with that. It flies off the shelf at $5.99, and 4.99 a box won't happen. Last week we had the steel cased on sale for $3.99 a box. We are having a hard enough time keeping this stuff in stock, and considering it already beats every other local competitor by leaps and bounds, I don't see the corporate office dropping the price anymore. $300 for a case of brass cased .223 LOCALLY, buying it BY THE BOX... I am willing to bet you'd be hard pressed to find an ONLINE dealer that you can buy BY THE BOX and get 1000 rounds for $300 out the door.
