I actually know one of the men who has been advising Cain since early in the election. Cain does want it, he believes that teh status quo has not worked out and he believes it will take a person who is willing to think outside the DC box and use basic business sense to solve this problem and he didn't see anyone who fit that bill so he decided he had to give it a shot. The man is very spiritual and gave it alot of prayer before he took on this endeavor. He had a nationally syndicated radio program he quit after just six months in order to make this run. He wants it.

So did Alan Keyes. And oddly enough, I liked his platform before liking a black candidate was fashionable.:mamoru:

Hey, don't shoot the messenger... it's just what I read this morning in the paper.

I have searched for any such story and have faile to locate even some left wing gosip blog with such accusations. Is this from some cook conspiracy group?

found a story and they were purchased profit free in compliance with FEC regulations.

What do cook conspiracy groups do? Replace brats with tofurkey links? Anyway, it was in the NYT (I have the paper version, but will search for a link).

Okay, i searched... couldn't find the NYT link. But if you Google "Herman Cain buys books," and hit "News," there's plenty out there about this.
