$10,500 OBO
The Good:
It has a 454/7.4 liter big block with only 142,000 miles with a Whipple Supercharger. I recently changed the oil (200 miles ago) with Mobil 1 oil, filter and Liqui-Moly oil additive. The truck runs perfectly straight down the road and sounds fantastic! The 4x4 system hi/low works as it should and the AC will make your nips hard! The seat bottoms have been re-upholstered and look great. There are no dash cracks. I'm a factory trained BMW/Honda tech with over 20 years professional experience and that much or more self taught. I recently spent 18 months traveling through South America and Mexico (Google The Buddy Expedition)in a Landruiser i built for the trip and would without hesitation drive this Suburban tomorrow on the same trip.
I did get to speak with the original owner and he installed the Whipple Supercharger to help with the mountain roads and increase fuel mileage. On a cool day the whistle of the Supercharger brings a smile to your face!! I have lots of receipts for the work that I completed.
This is a great truck and gets compliments everywhere I go. If you want a nice, daily driver or bugout rig, this is a great one! It also has a recent inspection and registration until January 2022.
The Bad:
Both seats have been replaced with factory non-power adjustable ones. There is a screw in the inside driver door and I assume its to secure the door panel in that one area. The paint has a nice "patina" due to GMC'S faulty paint supplier during those years and there's a few small grocery cart dings and there's a cassette stuck in the player but radio works.
Here are the items that have been replaced:
New Alternator
New Interstate Battery
New Tires
New Tie Rods, inner/outer
New Steering Box
New Pitman Arm
New Intake-Specter
New Mapp Sensor
New Front Windshield
New Radiator Hoses
New Serpentine Belt
New Superlift Level Lift
New Rancho 5000 shocks
New Roof Rack
New Husky Liners front/back
New Flowmaster Exhaust
New Front End Alignment
