I've read some threads on the Gen4 Glock 19's ejecting brass into the shooter's face so I was determined to buy an updated one to avoid the problem. So...I made sure to ask the gun shop owner for the latest and greatest. I was told it was manufactured in Oct, 2011 and was the lion's roar.

    BANG!!! Eject to forehead!
BANG!!! Eject to bridge of nose!

    DANG!!! What is wrong!
DANG!!! How do I fix it!

Go ahead with the "shoulda bought something else" and "just give it to me" threads. They were Hilarious the first ten thousand times.

Then, please direct me to a solution.

BTW, except for the ejected brass placement, I LOVE this gun!

Does it have the 336 ejector of the 30274? I just bought a gen4 19 also. Only 350 rds so far, but it hasn't given me any problems.

What type of ammo were you shooting?

If you have the 336 ejector in the 19, send it back to Glock on their dime(make sure you ask for a prepaid shipping label), and they will change it out to the 30274 ejector. When I purchased my Gen 4 in Oct, I had a ton to the face, and about 3 dozen stove pipes in the first 300 rounds fired. I sent it to Glock, it came back 10 days later, and I have had about 3500 rounds through it since then, and it's been flawless. Best purchase so far!

Is the part # on the ejector?

I was shooting brown bear 115gr.

Yes, if you look you'll see it stamped on the side. That ammo might have something to do with the problem, how many rounds do you have through the gun so far?

    200 rounds so far.

    Concerning ammo related problems...
I'm not used to having to worry about Anything when it comes to my Glocks!

    ...except operator error! ;-)
