Helped Dad tie up his 9mm sbr build last night. The stamp was an eform submitted 9-11, approved 12-11. Gun is done, minus a rear sight still in transit. Thanks to TDH for the can, and request dust off for the engraving work.

Can I ask why you picked that over the Glock compatible lower?

Dad's preference. Plus he doesn't own a glock, so he wouldn't have the advantage of an existing mag stock pile like most of us, had he gone that route.

Very nice! We've got a DDLE in the works, too. We went with Glock mags. What barrel length did you go with?

Thanks! It's a 4.5 inch adco barrel. What are you going with?

    Nice looking setup

I have a ddles lower waiting for paperwork
What buffer and spring are you using?
Did you you shoot it yet and if so how is it working with the setup?

Thanks, it runs perfect so far. The buffer is a slash 9q. It's an extended buffer weighing in at 8.5oz. The spring is a wolf xp.

    Now that looks fun!!

It's probably the most fun I've had with a semi auto! This was dad's first ar15 build.

Kenny, he test fired it without the can before mounting the rail. It ran fine that way too. He did note that the bolt didn't lock open on empty one time (without the can). With it, the bolt has locked back every time so far.
