I would like to publicly thank Alan at Geaux Shooting for the outstanding NRA Metalic Reloading course he taught last weekend. Not only was the NRA curriculm taught in detail but they went well above and beyond in personally getting my own equipment set up for multiple calibers. Reloading is not rocket science (well maybe a little...) but it can be daunting for someone who didn't grow up shooting or who doesn't come from a family of shooters. Sure there are plenty of books, DVD's and youtube videos that can teach you the basics, but there is nothing like a 1x1 in-person training session to point out the multitude of little things that could trip you up.
Thanks to Geaux Shooting I'm ready to challenge the old adage that reloading doesn't save you a penny, it just allows you to shoot more (and threrfore introduce others into the sport).
