A gal learning about shooting

I have been learning for about 10 years now and enjoying all of it. Wish I had my own little shooting range on my property like a fellow who gives me a few lessons every now and then....Oh, well, maybe sometime in the future! Two of my brothers also like shooting and are just starting with their first semi-auto pistols....

I like Ruger revolvers and have a new compact pistol they introduced a couple of years ago.

You didn't post your location, but A Girl and A Gun meets a couple Tuesdays a month. Girls only, and they always have an RO or NRA instructor there. It is at Precision range in Baton Rouge.

I have never met up with a girl and a gun, but have heard good things. I usually just end up going to Precision with a friend or two. Got started shooting with an ex who is LEO and then a few military friends.

Welcome aboard! If you're looking for a range, Precision Firearms on Cloverland waives the range fee for ladies on Mondays through Thursdays! If you have ammo, the only fee you would pay is if you need a target to shoot! I'm usually there on Mondays and Fridays - most weeks.
