It's satire. The line about Chicago being safer than Morehead City should have been the first clue. A real liberal would have capitalized "president" and "black" like the writer did for "Constitution", "Republican" and "Democrat". It's hard to say if the editors were in on the joke. I'd like to think that people who write for a living would recognize satire.

I almost died when I read the natural born part, it was too funny. I don't care if it was real or satire; I laughed either way.
