Love it...what makes it even better is that Ed Schultz is a true-believing, absolute lunatic leftist.

I made the mistake, however, of clicking on the video response to the NRA announcement that featured Jesse Jackson. First of all, they make it sound as though the NRA suggested dumping a garbage bag full of pistols in the middle of a school playground is the solution. Stupid.

In addition, Jesse Jackson-in all seriousness- cannot speak well enough to warrant as much airtime as he gets. I was almost embarrassed for them both.
If you're wanting to present your extremist views on a national outlet, at least afford yourself the luxury of finding someone who doesn't struggle with the most basic things like satisfactory enunciation.

Love this comment and especially the reply:

Ed why not publish a picture side by side of a modern day Bushmaster with a revolutionary type musket when the 2nd was written?

In reply to: Gil Acevedo #203 Because they don't want people to know that our forefathers had 1" bullets and bushmaster is .223 inches. Less than a quarter the size. Plus what if people find out you could have a cannon as well. a cannon would take out the bushmaster and the SUV it was carried in. But no, the founders never envisioned dangerous weapons.

I always laugh when idiots try and use that "logic".

Do they really believe our Founders wrote the Constitution with the stipulation it only remain good for their lifetimes?

    Done. I love this comment.

    1. Why is the description say that this is an AUTOMATIC weapon, whereas the one that can be purchased by a regular person without having to go through registering with the ATF, etc. is SEMI-automatic, big difference, but it seems that Ed and his friends want to mis-lead the uneducated and gulliable public.
    2. When the news was first breaking, officials said that the shooter was found with 2 handguns and that the rifle was found in the trunk of his vehicle. They even showed video of the police clearing the found rifle from the trunk of the vehicle. So how in the world did he shoot all those people with a rifle that was in the trunk ?? Seems to me he did not shoot with the rifle, yet the government and the Anti-gun people want the gulliable people to believe he did.
    3. Watching the video of the police when they found the rifle in the trunk and are clearing the weapon, it looks like they are clearing it by pulling on the side, yet anyone that has owned or shot an AR15 knows to clear the weapon you have to pull *back* on the charging handle which is on the rear, not the side. So again the media may be playing on gulliable public's emotions and saying that it is an AR15, but in fact it may just be a regular 22 caliber semi-automatic rifle.
    4. Guess what Connecticut already has an assault weapons ban, but you know what, people that want one to do harm will find a way to get it anyways. So banning something will only prohibit the good guys.
So people please study up on the facts before making a decision based on emotions. God Bless and Merry Christmas !!!
