I think you need a Military rifle (semi), a good 12 or 20 gauge pump, and a good large caliber handgun and plenty of ammo for each.

Please explain your philosophy on a "good large caliber handgun".

Are you of the mindset in the "one stop shot" theory? I'm not trying to pick, I just want to know why so many people think like this.
