Hypothetical situation: your pistol accidentally goes off in your apartment and the round goes into the ceiling. after about an hour of the cops not showing up and your neighbors not answering their doors, what do you do?

    call the cops?
    patch the hole?
    tell the maintenance folks?

    all hypothetical of course

Break into neighbor's apartment, hide the dead body or bodies, and patch the hole.

    Hypothetically...:dogkeke:

I've witnessed something similar happen, except the cops did show up. Not a good situation either way. I would fess up and hope for the best. Because if there are injuries you're in deep doo doo

Well, you should have at least went to the above apartment and checked to see that everything was ok, unless you were 111% certain there was nobody home. No worry about other neighbors that wouldnt get hurt.
Chances are that they have no idea anything happened and the round had only a small chance of penetrating their floor.

I would have probably threw a rock through my window and claimed ricochet from a drive by!

Fess up and pay for any damages. Then hypothetically enroll yourself in another gun safety course as a refresher of importance. Their are only negligent discharges.
