    glad you posted this.

    What kind of paint did you use? I was looking at some Dura Coat products. Anyone have experience with them?

    Back on topic: Looks good. I'm guessing you were going for the blended look, but personally I would have dabbled with tape and masking.

    thanks, i just used krylon fusion nothing special. it took all of 20 minutes to do all the parts.
    i did want to tape off all the lines on the handgaurd, but i dont have that kind of patience.

    im guessing you mean that tiny spot between the stock and handgaurd right?:D i wasnt brave enough to do the reciever. i figured if i screwed up the furniture was the easiest to fix.

    I think it looks great... gonna do my .308 when I get a chance.

    Probably going to use all four of the camo colors on the .308 though... Black, Tan, Brown and Green....

    May end up doing the AR in the early 90's urban camo style. Black, White and Grey... Still undecided though.

    if you "mess up" you can either A) paint over it, or B) strip it with acetone. Go for it, if you do the same as your furniture, it'll turn out just fine.

    ETA..Just watch out as acetone will melt some/most plastics

    thanks for all the compliments. well after much painstaking deliberation and research(white coat, beakers and everything else) ive decided im just gonna leave it like it is.
