    Alright guys,

Looking for some opinions on some aftermarket AR triggers. The 2 brands I'm looking at are Geissele or Timney.

Any knowledge or personal experience is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Craig

I don't have any experience with either, so I'm no help with those choices, but, I have a few JP triggers and their perfect for tactical rifles

Geissele, I have a hi speed national match DMR designated marksmen. Its fully adjustable, and I love it.

I have Geissele SSA triggers on all my AR's except for one and it has a Timney. I prefer the two stage SSA and all my future builds WILL HAVE the SSA triggers installed.

+1 JP triggers are the sex. Tried pretty much every AR trigger before buying the JP and I don't think any trigger for any price is better.

I have the Geissele SSA-E on my AR 10 and it's crisp, smooth, and breaks over like a dream. Also had a JP enterprise on another one and it was great but over time, it got mushy. my $.02

Between the two proffered, I'd go with a Geissele SSA.

In recent years I've replaced my Geisseles with AR Gold triggers by American Trigger Corp. I also run one Jewell which I don't intend to upgrade.

I have both a Timney 3 lb single stage and a Geissele SSA-E two stage. I bought the Timney before I knew how to work on anything because it was drop in and I really like the way it fires. I got the Geissele for my AR-10 and absolutely love it. I guess it depends on its intended use. Do you know anyone with the triggers you want? My friend had a Timney, Geissele, and JP triggers. It really helped to feel his before I made my purchase.
