Daddy and jr. are murderers. Makes all those things you Listed above negligible.
Daddy and Jr. were justly convicted. Completely void of "all those things you listed above" are they (hypothetically) still evil, rascist hate mongers? Or could it be that they found provocation (albeit undeserving of death) in a thuggish droopy drawered jogger casing the block? Anyone that's fallen for that innocent unarmed jogger spiel is a lost ball in tall grass.

I do have to agree with you sir on the first part. That was just dumb. Call 911 and be a good witness, it ends there.

Kinda shook my head on the second part. Did you really say you would have done exactly what the dead guy did ? It didn't work out too well for him, maybe you and he could chose a different course of action as "real men." Just a thought.
I didn't say I'd do exactly as he did. I'm simply saying he Arbery had every right to resist. That it is natural to resist an aggressor.

Well, I feel like justice was served. Not entirely sure about the neighbor that recorded the event, but I’m not aware of the circumstances of how exactly he was involved. I do feel that the father/son duo had no business running the guy down and pulling out a shotgun. They created a situation and ultimately killed a man. I felt strongly that they would be found guilty. For much the same reason, I believe the other father/son duo should be found guilty, (killed a loudmouth over dumping a mattress in the alley) but we shall see. I’ve not heard the first thing about that trial. I’m thinking the only chance they have is that guy picked up a bat and allegedly charged the old man, but they apparently created the situation by confronting a man with guns in front of his family while he was dumping trash in a dumpster. I’m not sure why anyone would go straight to the gun when the situation does not warrant the use of deadly force. Not saying you shouldn’t have one readily available in any altercation but to enter into an altercation that can be avoided, bringing a gun into the mix and thinking there’s going to be anything but a tragic turn of events is completely ignorant. And they deserve some jail time.
Edit: Michael and John Miller from Abilene Texas. Wonder when that one will resume.

They detained and committed homicide on someone who fit their stereotype for a burglar. Someone, they knew nothing about. They only had their stereotype to make decisions on.

    Racist? Likely.

Running toward a guy pointing a shotgun at you is NOT a good move. You may be legally right, but dead wrong. My wife insists the two men would have shot Arbery in any case. I don't believe that. If Arbery had just sat down, waited for cops, he would still be alive. These guys are not going to shoot someone on a Sunday afternoon in a subdivision, with someone making a video of it. Wrestling for the gun was a bad move.

First off. The homeowner even said that nothing was stolen from his house by Arbery. So just because 3 Yahoo's think something... doesn't make it so.

The young guy was just looking at the electrical wiring. His uncle was an electrician and he was planning on taking a Vo-Tech course to become an electrician.
He had some minor scrapes with the law when he was younger but was clean and on the right track.

FWIW. I think one needs to put themselves in his shoes. He's a black kid just going out jogging to get in shape. Thats a very, very normal thing for a 20 year old. I remember I used do all kinds of running, bike riding, and exercising when I was in my 20's.
If 3 black guys tried to stop me...a white man while I was running... I sure as hell wouldn't stop either. I would not have grabbed the gun... But I would have ran like hell.
