Air Assault

Any army guys been to air assault? I'm going this summer and I've been training daily but wondered if you all had any tips for me

Walk for 8, jog for 2.
And DO NOT be the guy that forgot to pack a pair of socks. U WILL be inspected at the end of each march

Make sure you have EVERYTHING on the packing list. If the brown undies from basic are listed on the packing list then have them. Undies might be a joke, but if you don't have ear plugs on your initial inspection you'll be going home.

i believe Camp Rilea in Oregon, cause right after that i'm heading to LDAC at Fort Lewis for 5 weeks

A guy that I'm deployed with used to be an instructor at AA. He said run a lot and then run some more.

Remember that you need to compensate for the extra weight in your ruck when you bound off, or you'll wind up upside down like I did
