AK building

Well it looks like me BRD has shifted to include the "other" evil rifle.

I just bought:

All Toth Tooling AK tools
All the AKbuilder drill bits and reamers/C-clamps/spot welder tongs
Harbor freight Spot Welder 120v
Unfinished front trunnions as gage block basically to spot weld the rails in.

Does it EVER end!

Does anyone know of any AK build parties in SE La anytime soon? I have the tools and a little bit of experience from two BPs I went to in SoCal as a Marine. I'm back home now and have a kit that needs to get done. Thanks!

Talk to Kyber Pass in Gonzales. They are putting one together for early Feb. (6 or 8th) iirc.

Searching the forum this morning for AK builders that plan on or wouldn't mind hosting. This was the last build thread I found. Before I buy a box of parts I wanted to secure a person to lend a hand. I do not mind tossing someone some cash for the knowledge and tool use.

Since this was brought back to life, I haven't built one and if someone is interested in trading tools or a kit for either gun work or some of my long gun inventory, PM me and we'll see what we can work out. Just interested in doing one to put that urge to rest.
