Just wanted to say hello to you all.

I’m new here as you can tell by this being my 1st post and I thought I’d introduce myself.

I’m an Army Vet. & spent most of my time in the Army doing MEDEVAC missions with Huey’s.
I missed it after getting out so I went
to College and then filled my need for adrenaline working as an ER Nurse here in Hawaii for almost 20 years now.

My dad owned a Gun Shop in California for a while and even though we didn’t really have a relationship growing up I know I got my Love for Guns from him and it grew exponentially after being in the Army.

He gave me an Egyptian Hakim the last time I seen him and I’ve enjoyed doing research on it and taking it to the range.

Still got a few things I need to get for it but it’s coming out ok.

PCS’d (Permanent Change of Station) here while I was in the Army and have been here since then, 1990.
Love it so I stayed. Use to body surf at Sandy Beach everyday after work. That was until we started having so many MEDEVAC missions from Sandy Beach with broken necks, broken backs, code 500’s from so much trauma, etc . . . So I stopped.
Switched to shooting at Koko Head Range. Literally down the street from Sandy Beach. Nice place to enjoy putting a few hundred rounds down range.
