I think Winchester Silver Tip 9mm are probably Aluminum clad.
Think it's just a plated lead bullet with nickel coating. Not real sure. I'm not really expecting any perfomance more than a regular target round.

So I've been reloading for 5 years or so now. I've really been fascinated lately with projectiles and what they do on impact of their intended target. For instance I've been researching 9mm self defense bullets lately. Comparing gold dots, HST, XTP etc. Ive already studied .223 projectiles extensively. Anyone else do this or am I a weirdo?
LEA proven rounds in 9mm include Gold Dot, HST, PDX1, Critical Duty, Golden Saber. In 9mm I use either Gold Dot or HST depending on availability.

I've thought about it, but I have so many other projectiles I want to try out first. Might cast bullets a few years down the road.
