Ammo in Lafayette

Walmart off Ambassador Caffery has .223 Federal 100 value packs for $40.

Academy off Ambassador has 9mm 100 round WWB for $24. They also have Monarch .380 50 round boxes for $14.

They had a bunch of each type. Academy also had a Bushmaster Ar-15 M4 with chromelined barrel for $999.

As of last night, the Pinhook walmart was still out of all handgun ammo, all .223, and .22 bulk packs. Basically just hunting ammo. The clerk told me they more or less randomly got ammo (couldn't tell me a specific day) and sometimes it was just a box or two. There were lots of little "warehouse out" stickers next to the shelf tags.

9mm WWB for $24 at Academy?? I bought some a month or two ago for $22...

Wallmart in Amite got a few boxes of .40 in. I picked up 3 100 rd. boxes of Winchester .40 165 grain for about $30 each. Only 3 boxes left in the store. Couldn't afford the other 3.

The clerk said that it was the first pistol ammo to come in for about 6 weeks. It came in last night and already is almost out. They had a little bit if 9mm but that sold this morning.

Walmart on Pinhook got some WWB in very recently. I took all four 9mm (sorry), but there were two .40 and quite a bit of .45. Go grab it!

ETA: No bulk Fed .22 or .223. There was Remington .223 20rd for $8.49.
