I'm not one to rant like this but I'm a little pissed off. Officer LaValley was my wife's cousin and comes from a huge family. His mother has 4 sisters and 3 brothers and they are the nicest people you would ever want to meet. They all drove up to Shreveport in the middle of the night, which is a 4 hour drive from where we live. My mother in law was hysterical as if her own child had been murdered and I know the whole family feels the same. The coward who shot Officer LaValley took a brave man away from good people and its infuriating. Also, thanks to all of you LEO's for all you do.
