Quadruple Shooting on North Prieur Street

North Prieur Street and Orleans Avenue, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

A 24-year old was shot in the arm, a 21-year old was shot in the lag, a 20-year old was shot in the foot and a 17-year old was shot in the back, said Officer Jonette Williams. The injuries were not life threatening, she said.

The four drove themselves to University Hospital. Their names were not released.

Williams said that it is unknown if the victims were shooting at each other or were shot at by someone else. Authorities have no motive or suspects.

Not necessarily - the shooters in this neighborhood are notoriously poor marksmen. The 4 people shot are just as likely to be bystanders and not the intended target.
