Oh and that The Army didn't have A Ranger School in 1968 it had several small Recondo Schools none of which were at Ft Benning in 1968 or maybe that The US Army has never in it's history had a Ranger/SF School they have always been unique entities that focused on separate and distinct things. The Ranger school was at Benning. Special Forces personnel who were short were assigned there as instructors. A large OCS contingent was also present, as well as basic training. I was there, ate the sand before breakfast, and know what I saw. Where were all you folks, dodging the draft?
