Just got an old feg hi power last week, I know its not a real browning but whomever had it re blued it, took out the magazine safety, installed sfs hammer, and did a trigger job to it. I gotta say this is now my new favorite pistol, lets see your hi power, pics soon.

Always liked em but never bought one. If I had one it wouldn't get sold but never been on top of list to buy.

I have 3, never had an issue with the hammer biting me. My hands must be too strong...

Nice guns, never cared for the mag saftey, so those go south with the quickness. Houge grips on all of them. They shoot well, despite rather sloppy frame to slide fits.

In order to be fair to the design. I'd like to own one.

I think that the majority of my problems stem from shooting mostly revolvers, where a high grip is better. But on a High Power a high grip is painful.

I also have a "Clone" = Charles Daily HP 9- Not a Browning but made from FEG parts. Great gun. Did trigger work and took out mag safety and it's a wonderful gun. Did not like the Argentine HP mags but works well with ProMag- go figure. Looks like most replacement parts swap out the same as the BHP, Wolf spring kits, recoil springs, rods, etc. Nothing can beat a "real" BHP Blue finish, those pictured are out of this world.
