    I also have a lolpic about mahogany but I feel I've **** in this thread enough.

    However, you /better/ post pics, if you're making something inspired by that table. That thing is badass.

    My bet is Mahogany with what likes from the pics red mag stain. If you posted a pic further away showing the coloring of the wood it would help. But pics are hard to judge by. Mahogany And Spanish Cedar look a lot alike. Spanish cedar is terrible about leaching oils out and curdling the finish. I hate the stuff, 20 yrs paint experience.
