Anybody in the Lafayette Area with a Suppressor

I've got a SCAR 16 coming in today or tomorrow that I had intended to get a suppressor for, but I want to get an idea of how obnoxious it'll be on a 16" barrel. As of right now FN isn't shipping replacement barrel assemblies stateside which means I'm not comfortable cutting my original barrel to a more friendly suppressor length. If anyone in the Lafayette area has a can that they'd be willing to let me try out on my gun, I'd be very appreciative.

i would gladly go to the range with you, no offense but i would not hand mine to my mom to watch her drive off And Mine is a quick release collar type, I assume you realize that without the flash hider/adapter it will not fit on your gun.

That'd be illegal , and I wouldn't expect you to hand it over. I am looking for someone with the thread on variety, but out of curiosity, which brand/model is it?
