Anyone have any experience with Volquartsen built pistols?

I'm really really really wanting a new custom target .22. I have my eyes set on one of these.... Possibly either the Scorpion or V Magic ii. They are very pricey but man are they sweet!!! Any input or know of anything out there better?

After more looking around I think I found something that just might be a little better... somewhat cheaper too. I'm just trying to add everything up and see if this is the cheapest solution because I want a one off custom!

I have a friend and fellow competitor who has a Volquartsen pistol and I have High Standard Trophy with a Volquartsen barrel on it. Both guns will shoot groups under 2" at 100 yards from a rest if you do your part. They make excellent barrels.

This is an old post, but I have a deluxe and a scorpion - love them both. I just called a distributor and they said you are looking at an 8 month wait for a new one right now.
