My son ran the gun vault there when they first opened. Didn't stay long. They can be hard to work for I'm told. However I have talked to a couple that say it isn't that bad if your just a reg. employee, but they don't treat their managers very well.

I worked there for about 8 months. I worked the firearm counter.

I got paid more than $10/hour

I will say this, I had a great manager in my department but his superior was/is awful. He is one of those guys that tries to treat his employees like friends too often. He gets taken advantage of by those guys and he is too blinded by their friendship to see that they work as efficiently as a one-legged man in an ass kicking competition. From my experience, the guys who really busted their tails didn't get the managerial "props" as often as the slacking guys who were trying to be buddies with the boss man.

Only negative incident I had was when I corrected a fellow worker who was trying to sell a lady 9x18 ammo for her S&WMP9. He told bossman I was making him look stupid. Somehow I get a talking to by the boss because I shouldn't "show up" employees. I guess I should have let the lady shoot her makarov shells out of her S&W

You definitely prevented a possible accident.

My half brother was a manager at the gun counter. Got tired of the bs of his supervisors and dealing with dick customers so he quit. He was the manager when they first opened. Got payed way more then 10 an hour lol. Also one of my gf's friends works at customer service I have no idea how much she gets paid but I think she likes it. Im not really close to her so I dont know.
