Anyone know how to change out an ar10 front sight?

I am about to change out the standard post sight and am not sure if the gas tube goes all the way through the front sight. If so how do I go about changing that out and will I have to replace the gas tube. I am replacing it with the standard block that has the rail on top and bottom and will just add a flip up front sight so it won't get in the way of the scope. Any and all help is welcome.

You have to push out the gas tube retaining pin to get the gas tube out of the FSB/GB. I find it easier to remove the FSB/GB with the gas tube still installed, then remove the tube. From there, install the tube in the new FSB/GB, then install the new FSB/GB on the barrel.
