Anyone offering CC class for women?

My friend's mom is interested in getting her CC permit but doesn't know where to go. She said someone told her she could go to Shooters Club in Harahan, but they would charge almost $200. Isn't this over the top??? Anyone in the Metairie area offering a class soon? Thanks guys.

She doesn't need a specific class for "women". $200 seems a little steep to me, but I don't know the market. My class was $100 and then whatever the cost of the actual permit down the road.

I took mine at the Alexandria Indoor Range. $95 for the class. There were almost as many women as men, but no gender specific class. 200 sounds high to me.
