Now that the NFA Trust is done, the suppressors are pending with the ATF. Hunting season is upon us and we can now legally hunt with them in LA. Soooooo, I have a Browning 30-06 with a BOSS system on it. Thinking of removing the BOSS and putting a SureFire muzzle break to fit my SOCOM762 can for next season. Anyone do anything similar yet? Looked into what thread pitch was on the Browning barrel. Everything i've read says 9/16-24 which means I'll have to get an adapter to change it to 5/8-24 to make it work.....

More parts, more potential points of failure. Better option would be have the barrel cut, threaded in the correct pitch for the break and recrowned by someone competent. You may lose an inch on the barrel, but you wont be losing much off muzzle velocity.
