where did the mini chop saw come from ? What kind of blade do you use, and what diameter ?
does it cut or grind ?
Lookin at the case holder, I guess that is specific for 300........
Guess Ill have to just come hang out one day.

NO NO NO, I don't want to start reloading, I don't have enough free time as it is..............

Lol. A guy on 300blktalk.com makes the jig. He also makes them for other calibers. He males the jig specifically for this chop saw from harbor freight. Got it for 24.99 with coupon. Last one they had so I got it. You could probably wait and get it cheaper.

I hope my buddy doesnt see this thread...He'll be begging me to start reloading 300blk for him!!! On the other hand, it would be fun and I have a ton of brass. Its the start up cost that keeps me from going to a 300blk. I cant just build a 300blk upper, its gotta be a full rifle!

    Oh what shall I do...:dunno:

I've got enough parts to put a second 300 together..................

The hell with 5.56. Ive swapped over to 5.45x39 for a while now. My 5.45 AR WILL outshoot your 5.56 AR [ yes its a challenge to anyone reading ] Second to my 5.45, 300 is by far the best AR combination there is.
but that is for another forum, and opinions are like assholes ! Right ? I don't wanna get kicked out of here ! so back to the topic.

I have everything except that jig for the HF mini chop saw. The jig was the only thing that made me wait, being $60. I might make one.

A friend made that very instructive vid on teh YouTube. I also can't find IMR 4117. Cabelas only has 4007. I bought some bulk from freedom munitions and plan on reloading those cases. Curious if they are converted or made for 300.

I only paid $45 for the jig.
GM. Ive haven't decided as ive been reading about trimming them and ive started trimming them to 1.358-1.360. Cham. and debur. This gives you room for that 1.368 max case lenght ( -.020). Most people trim it short and dont worry about trimming but im going to resize some cases ive trimmed tomorrow and see

Can you post a link? I Only saw them on eBay. Where else? Also, where are you ordering powder. I'd much rather get it local vs pay the premium in shipping.
