April 3-gun match in Poplarville

It's that time of the month, again, shooters. On April 3, the SMPSA club will hold a 3-gun match in Poplarville.

For some reason, the wife feels it's more important to go out of town and celebrate our anniversary. Shesh...women

The match on Sunday will start one hour later than normal because of the limited access to the range today, due to the rain yesterday. This means shooting will begin at 10 AM, no 9 AM.

Two stages set for the most part. We plan to set up the other two in the AM.

You may want to bring a range finder. Bring a rifle sling. You should always have one with you.

Bring your A game. If you're like me and don't have one, go to the store and buy one. LOL! You will need it. Yes, I'm feeling much better, and the two stages show it!!

Another great match in Poplarville! 3 3 gun stages and one two gun stage, challenging shots with all three guns with a nice mix of hoser targets. A lot of movement today, so I was slow but had just as much fun!!

Thanks to all for coming out, and especially for all the help with tear down. Several people stayed and helped drag the rifle targets off the hill. Thank you! That was a huge help.
