APSO range today

Today is a beautiful day to get outdoors and do some shooting. I'll be at the APSO range by Lamar Dixon today at around 2:00 shooting my M4. The range and targets are free. There are nice bench rests and the staff is strict, but nice. Maybe I'll see you there.

I would have went with "see if you can get them out of your wife's purse".
I am married & get my permission slip signed before a field trip. Some times I also get a sandwich & money for ammo. Trick is asking nicely & don't make direct eye contact. They can sense fear.

I had a good time shooting today. The staff was really nice and helpful. The only thing that could be improved is that they always keep a hot line so you can't move your target. They have 2 set up at like 10 yards, 2 set up at 50 yards, and around 15 set up at 100 yards. I'll probably go back again in 2 weeks.

I have never been out there. I was to go meet the Garand folks there twice & both times it stormed.
