Rear buis are the same height, but calibrated differently. The front sights are a different height. You can use a AR15 stock on a AR10, but only with an extension (I think).
If I'm thining right, the diameter of the barrel at the chamber is different, meaning the barrel nut is different, meaning the handguards are different. There may be an adapter of some sort to make a AR15 handguard fit an AR10 paltform, but I've not seen one. If I remember right, the FCG is identical or similar enough on each to be compatible, some of the mag catches are compatible (depending on if it's an AR10 or LR308 format), and picatinny accessories should match up like sights and the like.
