I wish manufacturers sold blank AR stripped low, of course with s/n, but no company logo. I would love to have my AR's engraved, but the darn logo's are in the way.

@Bam Bam They have a lot that do. Check with Kenny at Meplat. He has a bunch of lowers in stock, some are plain.

Pretty sweet… but do you even know what temp your laser works at or how much it compromises the integrity of the metal?!?!? Sorry had to do it lol

tattoo. How is the bare aluminum protected?

Thank you !....That specific receiver took a few hours to laser each side.

Aluminum is non ferrous so no issues with having to protect it. Short answer, It will form aluminum oxide and protect itself.
