I am thinking about buying an AR that ejects spent shells to the left side of the gun. I have a Bushmaster M4 A3 now that is a very fine gun and shoots like a dream.

I have never been hit by a spent shell but there is always a chance.
Do you now of a good AR for a Southpaw ? Can I just get away with changing the upper and the bolt out ?

I am kind of a gun newbie sooooo be gentle please. I have found that Stag makes an AR for a Southpaw, but I have also heard the Stags are junk. I would appreciate any help the members of BayouShooter can give.

I have a Stag 2L and my father owns a 3L... excellent rifles. Ran my Stag in the Magpul Carbine course in November. 3 days, no cleaning, no lube, 1400 rounds without a hick-up.

Stag Arms used to make a great AR for lefties.

They were obviously high on crack when they were speaking. Build quality on mine is 10/10.

    Thanks for the input guys.
