what brand is the lower? I notice it has a teardrop Forward assist on an A2 upper, might be a mixmaster that was duracoated? Is that black showing through underneath the green on the case deflector?

The Lower is an Essential Arms. I called them and they told me that serial # was a custom matched set upper and lower. According to them, both pieces came from one block and were finished in anodized OD green. The tear drop I had put on there. It had a regular A2 when I got it. I like the tear drop better.
Worked with 1 to many A1 in the Army...... Like the A2 sights better though!
