Here's a couple of AR's I've built in the last few weeks.
Spikes midlength LE upper 1 in 7 twist
Magpul UBR stock, MOE pistol grip, and MOE midlength handguards
Bravo co. charging handle
Fail Zero bolt & hammer
Daniel Defence lower parts kit
GG&G flip-up rear sight
Magpul bad lever
Over the past several years I've built AR’s for my wife and three children – well I finally got them (the ARs, not the family)) in one picture. Mine is the one in the middle (Armalite). Two of the others are Eagle Arms (by Armalite) lowers, and the other two are Essential Arms. Sights are an EOtech, ACOG, Aimpoint Comp M2, Cmore ATAK, and a 4x traditional scope. I figured fellow gun-nuts would appreciate this type picture.
The Armalite is the NM version with the free float tube, all the match bells & whistles, that I've used for High Power (without the Comp M2).
Wife’s & Daughter’s have collapsible stocks because the standard stocks were a little too long for them. The one on the right is my wife’s that I'll eventually put a 16* barrel on to further lighten it. It currently has a lightweight SP1 1/12 twist barrel but she complains that it’s still a little heavy. My two boys wanted all the tacticool do-dads.
I’ve already started on gifts for the grandkids, but I'm going with traditional wood-stock M1A's, Garands, or Springfields.
My first AR. Smith and Wesson M&P15 MOE edition. Added the Aimpoint PRO red dot, Magpul ETG, ASAP plate, and tac rail. Streamlight TLR-2 is temporarily on the gun.
