While at the Academy in Lafayette I saw they had 3 AR's. One for $799, one for $999 and one for $1100. First AR I have seen there in about 4 months. The sales person said they had been there for a couple of days. Now the prices just need to keep coming down.

Was in the Ambassador Caffery Academy a few weeks ago and they had more than 3 available at the time. Had 5 or 6 .223 and 5.56 models, as well as 4 or 5 .22 models. They've been having .223 and 5.56 ammo in stock every time I've been in as well.

I've seen them allover the place too. Seen quite a few at the pawnshops and Walmart had 4 flavors on the rack--Colt, BMI, Windham, and DPMS. Saw a bit of 223 tula ammo there too but it didn't last long. At least you can buy 3 boxes at a time there and not one at a time at Academy.
I feel sorry for all the people that bought the overpriced AR's. They won't be getting their money back out of those and lost a good chunk.

You are right. Most everything is back and mostly easy to find. I was at Jefferson Gun the other day and they had numerous brands of AR's, Glocks, and Shields in stock. None of which you could find 2 months ago

Visited a small gun dealer on Tuesday who had 22 L.R. sitting on the counter for $2.99 a box, limit 4 boxes. Also had 2 or 3 Ruger 1022's for $329. Said that he is beginning to get a lot of items in.

Guns are everywhere... problem is, there's still no ammo.

There is ammo. I have not had any problem finding it day to day. Just have to keep your eyes out for the right places. I could buy 9mm, .22, .45, .223, etc almost daily at not bad prices if needed.
