Cant afford all the 30-06 i need to practice for now! Though my m1 has great sights and after a few practice clips from the bench, hitting the steel at 100 yards at honey island is pretty easy.

thats one gun that i wish there was a .22 conversion kit for

From a seated position at 50 yards I can usually do 5-shot groups inside 1-2" using my BUIS and M4. I think using a scope for an "All American Rifle Challenge" is a bit cheap, personally. I wish I had a range where I could put my money where my mouth is with one my Dad's .22's and irons.

25 with a highly customized, scoped, semiauto .22lr? Yea, I guess that makes me a Rifleman?

A one inch group at 25 yards is a four inch group at 100 yards or 20 inches at 500 yards. That's a pretty good range. Even more impressive, of course, with a stock rifle and iron sights.

video aside, this can be done with a stock 10/22 with iron sights. it's not easy.
I know, I was commenting on the qualification being rather easy. My marlin model 60 is very good for it. I scoped it, though, because I wanted to shoot it at 100 yards and my eyes are going to hell.

25 yards, though, benching it, this is a great way to get a bunch of people interested in shooting accurately and working on fundamentals, though, and not setting the bar so high that they feel discouraged.

He was firing prone, not off a bench. For some, this may be rather easy, but for the vast majority of people, shooting 4 MOA from prone will take a lot of work.

That would be a good target for your carry pistol at 21'.
