    Guys,

Do you have the latest firmware on your iPad (iOS 4.3.3)? If so, have you recently tried to plug in your earphones? If you did, do they work? Luckily on my first flight, it was short and sitting here in my hotel room, I got to do some research and found a fix.

If you have your earphones plugged into your iPad and have no sound, do this.
Leave the earphones plugged in and turn off your iPad. After if completely shuts down, re-start your iPad and after it powers up, open either your iPod or Movie folder and play something and you should have audio back. At least that is what I researched and it worked for me...

    Thanks for the tip.

I'm all updated on my iPad (1) but I haven't used headphones with it in a while. I will keep this in mind!

Thanks for the tip. I just checked mine and it was working, but it would have sucked to get on an airplane and the headphones not worked.
