Audubon Zoo in NOLA

Have to go there later in the week and wondered if they have a CC policy. Anyone ever go there?

I don't want to get "surprised" at the gate.

Get there either early or late. The heat will keep the critters hiding thru most of the day.
Honestly I think the br zoo is a bet better.
Also try the aquarium too. It's real nice.

I used to work there. CC is always welcome, just don't used the animals as target practice lol. Aquarium may or may not be, and I know the Insectarium is not because it's in a government building.

Sec. 13:1011. - Possession of firearms at BREC parks.

(a)
It shall be unlawful for any person to have in his possession a firearm, pellet gun, BB gun or other instrumentality customarily used or intended for probable use as a dangerous weapon on property comprising parks, playgrounds, recreational areas or facilities owned or operated by the recreation and parks commission.

(b)
Whoever violates the provisions of this section shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), imprisoned in the jail for not more than six (6) months, or both.
