My Aunt had some old .32 acp kicking around that she asked me to get rid of. It's pretty nasty, corroded and discolored. I don't think it's safe to shoot.
So, what do I do with it?

I was told by a student that he has brought ammo before to State Police for this but I cannot confirm that they will take it and get rid of it for you

    Worth checking into it though.

Any police department should accept it for disposal, just call whoever is closest. I grew up near the new troop a, closest leo office to me, so we took some there. I assume sheriff and city would do the same.

If you're near colfax, a company called "clean harbors" is apparently the only place in the U.S. that commercially disposes of ordinance, projectiles, etc, according to the epa.
