    Stealth!!!

I live on 14 acres surrounded by about 400 undeveloped acres, that was logged in the late 90's. I'm going to be hunting deer right off the back porch next year.

    That's just --- no city!!!!!!

    I live UNINCORPORATED!

My usual deer rifle is either a 35 Whelen or a Marlin 30-30, neither of which are known for stealth.

If all goes right, I'll take one from the back window of my barn loft.

Been keeping a game camera for 2 years now, seems like I have anywhere from 3 - 6 does with fawns. In 2 years I have never captured 1 sign of a horn. I know he's out there, heck he's got to be there, but he's an absolute ghost.

I harvested 1 doe going on 10 years ago, then one of my not so special nieghbors relocated some hogs into the area. Deer vanished for 5 or 6 years. It took years of effort to rid the vacinity of the scourge. The deer population is just now recovering.

If all goes well next year, 1 or 2 will visit Camp Kenmore.
