So while ritten has my bolt installing a new bolt knob I broke down and ordered a bell and carlson light tactical stock. I have been thinking would it be worth it to skim bed the stock with the aluminium block or just bolt it in and go? Just hoping that it will get my groups a little farther under a moa instead of right at it. Gun is a remington VTR 308 and best groups have been right at 3/4" with hsm 168gr. So worth it or not?

I'd bolt it on and go... see how it shoots, and if there seems to be room for improvement, then start working on it.
