    For added convenience, if you stop in Bourque's for some delicious boudin, you can also pick up a new firearm while you're there. A bit of a Louisianan one stop shop!

    I'd give Billeaud's Grocery my #2 vote. Y'all are right though, Best Stop does have some great boudin as well.

    Am I the only one who thinks Best Stop's boudin changed about 8 or 10 years ago? It's still good, but seems different to me.

    Amazes me that most of the places on this list are in the Lafayette and Lake Charles area. Do people on the east bank not know how to make sausage? Maybe it is a Cajun vs Creole thing. New Orleans Area is mostly Creoles and other side of the river is mostly Cajun.
